An easy appetizer, high in protein. It’s great served with crudites or whole grain crackers.
Ingredients
1-7.5 oz. can wild Alaskan salmon
8 oz. organic cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup Vegenaise*
1/2 tsp dill weed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbs fresh lemon juice
2 to 3 tsp horseradish
Instructions
Drain salmon and place in food processor. Add Vegenaise and softened cream cheese and pulse food processor until mixture is combined. Add dill, garlic, lemon juice and horseradish and mix until smooth and combined. Adjust seasonings as desired. More horseradish can be added according to taste.
Place dip in pretty bowl and sprinkle dill weed over top. Serve with whole grain crackers or fresh vegetables such as baby carrots, red pepper strips, cauliflower and broccoli.
Notes
Vegenaise is a mayonnaise made with grapeseed oil. It’s found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. It has a purple lid.
